Experience Otorohanga

Otorohanga, also known as "Kiwiana Town", can be found just a short drive from the Waitomo Caves. This offers a great day trip while staying with us at our Waitomo holiday park accommodation.

According to the Oxford dictionary, Kiwiana means: any of the many 'collectable', items redolent of New Zealand life and culture.

Otorohanga is also home to the Kiwi House and Native Bird Park, a fascinating place to visit. Come and spend time wandering through this lovely little town and enjoy the 24 Kiwiana displays, murals & sculptures listed below.
